Allyson Agathis, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified Pediatrician specializing in Pediatric and Adolescent medicine for babies, children, teenagers, and young adults up to age 25. Dr. Agathis offers comprehensive medical services in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
She has over 35 years of experience in the Field of Pediatrics. Dr. Agathis earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry with the highest honors from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She graduated with several awards including Phi Beta Kappa with the highest honors and the Abraham Messler Award for Outstanding Freshman Year.
Dr. Agathis completed medical school at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey, where she was a George F. Smith Full Tuition Merit Scholar. She completed her residency at New Jersey Medical School and Children's Hospital of New Jersey in Newark.
Dr. Agathis is board-certified in Pediatrics and served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Rutgers Medical School. She boasts the honors of America’s Top Pediatrician, Favorite Kids Doctor (New Jersey Medicine), and New Jersey’s Top Doc for multiple years, as well as America’s Best Physician, Patient’s Choice Award, and America’s Most Honored Doctors.
From providing an in-office CLIA-certified laboratory to offering comprehensive Pediatric exams, sick visits, COVID-19 testing, newborn care, and pre-college medical and counseling, Dr. Agathis offers extensive services. Her practice also provides preservative-free flu shots and vaccines, as well as vision and hearing screenings.
